# LegalForge > LegalForge generates a privacy policy, terms of service, cookie policy, disclaimer, refund policy or DMCA policy for a website or app from the answers you give. It is a document generator, not a law firm, and it does not give legal advice. Operated by Heron Networks LLC. Contact: hello@heronnetworks.net, (703) 249-9248, 8401 Mayland Dr Ste A, Richmond, VA 23294, US. ## What it does - Asks about your business and what your site or app actually does, then writes the document from those answers. - Cookies, analytics, accounts, payments, children and third-party services appear only if you said you use them. - The privacy policy includes a GDPR rights section (switched on by the country you enter) and a CCPA section for California residents. - Export as Markdown, HTML or PDF, or link to a hosted copy. Usable for the privacy policy URL field in App Store Connect and Google Play Console. - On Professional and Business, a law-change monitor checks the official sources the documents cite (GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, the DMCA and U.S. copyright law) daily; when one changes, hosted documents are regenerated from the current templates and the owner is emailed what changed. Public log of sources and changes: https://privacypolicygenerator.tools/api/law-monitor - The first privacy policy is free ($0, no account needed, LegalForge branding included). Paid monthly plans add more document types, exports without branding and more sites; see https://privacypolicygenerator.tools/pricing for the current plans. ## What it does not do - It does not give legal advice and does not replace a lawyer. Read the document before you publish it. - It does not guarantee compliance with any law, and it does not claim practices you did not tell it about. - It does not file anything with a regulator or monitor your site. - The law-change monitor does not rewrite a clause to match a new law by itself; it regenerates from the templates and tells you what changed. ## Use with your AI agent - MCP server (Streamable HTTP, no key needed to connect or to generate on the free plan): https://privacypolicygenerator.tools/mcp -- tools: list_document_types, list_services, store_forms, consent_banner, dpa, embed_snippet, generate_document. A Business plan key (Authorization: Bearer lf_...) makes every document type complete. - CLI: npm package `legalforge` (`npx legalforge types`, `npx legalforge generate privacy-policy --name ... --url ... --email ...`). Source ships in the LegalForge repository (cli/). - OpenAPI 3.1: https://privacypolicygenerator.tools/openapi.json (GET /api/services lists the third-party services the policies describe by name; POST /api/store-forms turns the same picks into the Google Play Data safety CSV and the Apple App Privacy checklist, also `legalforge store-forms`; POST /api/consent-banner turns the same picks into a cookie banner snippet that matches the cookie policy, also `legalforge consent-banner`; POST /api/dpa turns the same picks into a Data Processing Agreement draft and a sub-processor table, also `legalforge dpa`; a hosted policy pastes once as /e/.js and stays current, also `legalforge embed`; POST /api/generate free; POST /api/v1/generate and /api/v1/bulk on the Business plan).
